This workshop is two hours of gentle movement, breathwork and relaxation. The practice will focus on connecting to the breath, exploring the body's range of movement and centring the mind, all with the intention to release stress, find internal restoration, and reset the nervous system.
This afternoon is suitable for all levels of yoga practitioner, it would suit those who are new to yoga and want a gentle start to learning as well as those who have an established practice and want to take it easy and focus on calming.

Forrest Yoga Class with Vicki
Join Vicki for an immersive session of yoga following the sequences and teachings of Forrest Yoga. A little oasis of calm in the middle of your weekend.
Forrest Yoga is based on traditional hatha yoga but has elements that have been added to suit a western body. These pay particular attention to the neck and the core and work on the premise that the asana (posture) is an expression of the body, rather than trying to fit the body in to a shape. The practice gives us the opportunity to take some more time in the postures, warming the body towards some (optional!) dynamic and challenging poses later in the session. This will all be rounded off be a deliciously deep and calming relaxation.
Please bring your own mat, props ( if you use them) and a blanket. £25
